nthan it took.

nSouls alongside the road

nrest in crumbling tombs…
n
nthe brave and the righteous,

nfarmers and heroes,
n
ntheir wives and their children,
n
ntheir blood in my veins.

nOn a road to nowhere,
n
namid a vast sea of crops,
n
nlies a blink on the map,
n
nworthless to most,
n
nbut it’s the precious place
n
nmy heart calls home.
