rnAnd our paths meander and cross
rnThen forks or a rocky embankment
rnLeave me searching, my Soul at a loss
rnWith faith and some apprehension
rn
rnMy fear dissolves in delight
rnAs a new road forms there before me
rnAnd I take the path to the right
rn
rnMountains swell all around me
rnTheir summits lost to a storm
rnThen I notice the road ahead falters
rn
rnAnd I drop to my knees, my heart torn
rnThe road behind is but a memory
rnA shadow is all that remains
rn
rnBut the darkness glimmers with wisdom
rnAnd I see all the lessons I’ve gained
rn
rnSo with one step I tackle the mountains
rnI endure the wrath of the storm
rnSome Souls travel beside me
rn
rnWhile others leave me lost and forlorn
rnWhen dawn caress’ the morning
rnAnd the road is again straight and true
rn
rnI find I am so much the stronger
rnThe disappointments I hold but a few
rnThe Soul travels a journey
rnFrom birth to the heavens above
rn
rnThough the road is often rocky
rnIt is made easier when there is love
