Built since the 17th century but commonly known from the early 19th century, Wat (Thai for temple) Arun is a series of temples with one main temple which is called Arun right in the middle of the area. The fascinating Khmer-styled temple is covered with shiny stones and filled with porcelains (mostly plate-like) nearly in every single arch. Last 2013 restoration was to fix the other temples that surrounds the main Arun temple because of weather tear.
