rnMusamus, so the locals call it. Musamus is a "Palace" built by a Termite Colony. Using a mixture of dry grass as the main material and saliva as a cement to seal them, it takes a long time to build this Termite Palace. The specialty of the house of termites is the design of ventilation in the form of passageways that help protect from rain, and helps release heat into the air when summer arrives.

rnBecause of the various features it has, then musamus become a symbol for Region of Merauke. Musamus can only be found in several places in the world, in Indonesia may exist in Merauke only.

rnWe can find hundreds Musamus that were located near each other in Salor Village, District Kurik, who live by the ifimahat tribe, about 140 kilometers from the town of Merauke.
