Nikita began his serious guitar lesson at the age of 17 when he took hisnfirst jazz guitar lesson from Oele Patiselano and later on with Ahmad Anandanin Jakarta. At age 20, he attended Tjut Nyak Deviana Daudsjah's JazznWorkshop "Jazz dan Anda" at The Regent Hotel, Jakarta (2001). On the age ofn22, he enrolled at Institut Musik Daya Indonesia founded by Tjut NyaknDeviana Daudsjah for Preparatory and Degree Program and started to playnElectric Guitar and study with Guenter Weiss - German Music Professor.nNikita also studied with numbers of foreign guitarist such as: HideakinTokunaga (Japan), John Stowell (USA) and Max Zentawer (Germany); Nikita alsonstudied classical guitar with Seno Aji Nugroho.nnNikita has performed and recorded with numbers of musicians and singers,nincluding Opus 3 Big Band, Ricky Lionardi Big Band, IMDI Ensemble, The DayanBig Band conducted by Tjut Nyak Deviana Daudsjah and Sri Aksana Sjuman,nIndra Lesmana (Reborn & Rumah Ketujuh Big Band), Rieka Roslan, Andien, JamienAditya, Gerald Albright, Lenny Castro, Peter Scherr, and many more.nnNikita performs multifarious types of music from Jazz to Rock and Roll.nNikita has performed in a lot of local Jazz Festival. Nikita continues tonperform original music with his own group Tomorrow People Ensemble, at BalinJazz, Nusa Dua Jazz Festival, Indonesia Open Jazz, Java Jazz, and many more.nnIn 2005, he attended the 15th Annual International Association of School ofnJazz (IASJ) in Krakow, hosted by Krakow School of Jazz Contemporary Musicnfrom July 3rd – 9th 2005. And recorded a live concert CD at Radio Kracownissued by IASJ.
