D52099 was constructed by Krupp (3322/1952). This 2-8-2 had two outside cylinders 500 x 600 mm with driving wheel diameter of 1503 mm. Boiler pressure was 16.0 kg/cm2, grate area 3.5 m2 with a heating surface of 171.0 m2 and a superheater surface of 60.0 m2. Overall weight was 74.2 tons with 52.6 tons available for adhesion. D52099 is preserved at Taman Mini in Jakarta. This was the only post Second World War locomotive class to enter service in Java and were found allocated all over the non-hilly sections of the southern mainline between Jakarta and Surabaya.
