The elegance of this tidal island with its surrounding; low tide sands, the Romanesque church of the Abbey, the sturdy pillars striated by the light embracing the textured arches and columns of halls of lost steps, this endlessly cavernous space. A place eternal and immutable, limned by a luminous streak like an echo of light.
