nSituated in the centre of a bay in Normandy, roughly one kilometre from the northern coast of France, Mount-Saint-Michael welcomes nearly three and a half million people every year; this includes visitors, pilgrims, and tourists.

nmount-saint-michael-at-the-peril-of-the-sea is an inverted ship, its sails are absorbed by the sands and the waters, its hull is the marvel, its pride overturned toward the firmament is its keel; it is a vast vegetation of walls, columns, and sculptures.

nThis panel is to share my passion for this mysterious pyramid of light. The elegance of this tidal island with its surrounding; low tide sands, the Romanesque church of the Abbey, the sturdy pillars striated by the light embracing the textured arches and columns of halls of lost steps, this endlessly cavernous space. A place eternal and immutable, limned by a luminous streak like an echo of light.
