saw holiday on ice yesterday, flash offcourse was not allowed and my digital could only go upto 400ISO, finally tried some panning, and this one came out good (imo) nn(write to me if you want tips on shooting holiday on ice using consumer camera ;-) )

Your idea is excellent but the result was not there...... If it is a lighting painting, it was amazing......
ide panning cakep.. hanya object utama (POI) malah ikutan kabur..imho

When Using a consumer camera,and if you want to capture a moment like this without a blur (an Object or the BG) a Tripod is needed.
nice blue but so disfocus....1 more thing what do u mean with the location?...just keep upload man.....

Yes it is an artistic foto. but for panning photography you need to get sharp focus on your POI (the dancer) and everthing else blur. Focus on moving object is hard. this can achive either pre-focus on the spot or set your focus mode on AI (auto servo) CMIIW
