Enchanting Indonesia, Just a Smile away to the Wonders Archipelago

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore will be organizing an Indonesian
tourism and cultural festival entitled “Enchanting Indonesia, Just a Smile away to the
Wonders Archipelago”. This event will showcase the wealth and beauty of the culture and heritage of the 11 major
tourist destinations in Indonesia, such as North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau Islands,
Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, and
North Sulawesi. Garuda Indonesia as well as several tour and travel operators will provide
the visitors with irresistible tour packages to the destination of their dreams.

The two day long festival will be filled with live traditional music and dance performances
from the various regions to entice and entertain the public at Orchard Road , with the
culmination of a fashion show, where models will strut on the catwalk in casual and elegant
batik apparel. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience batik-making, angklung,
and dance workshops for free. A variety of Indonesian restaurants in Singapore will cater to
those keen on trying sumptuous Indonesian dishes.

This festival will also be displaying Indonesian products to those eager on acquiring mementos
from Indonesia.
