Fungsinya untuk apa ya mas? Setahu saya Ai itu kan kepanjangan dari aperture indexing bukan? dan gunanya supaya meteringnya nggak perlu stop down metering? CMIIW

Dengan lensa Ai (Aperture Indexing) anda bisa menggunakan mode A (Aperture Priority), dengan lensa Ais (Aperture Indexing Shutter) anda bisa menggunakan mode A dan S (Shutter Speed Priority) (?) cmiiw Nikonians Photography Glossary AI and AIS Difference NAI, AI, AI'd, AIS AI, AIs AIS lenses have internal modifications to allow faster and more accurate shutter priority and programmed exposures by way of linear aperture movement, i.e. an equal mount of movement anywhere along the linkage results in the same amount of diaphragm action. AI-S Lenses: Released for the Nikon FA (1983), The AI-s lens has a small notch cut into the rear of the lens mount that relays the focal length and maximum aperture to some cameras. It's not that big of a deal, there's really no difference between AI and AIs for most purposes although for some cameras you need it for Program or Shutter-Priority modes. Mungkin OoT, tp penasaran juga, saya punya lensa 50/f1.8 serie E, waktu saya lihat gambar 50/f1.8 serie E di bursa lensa, kok beda ya dengan lensa saya? Di gambar tersebut di bodi lensanya tidak ada ring dari logam, tapi kok lensa saya ada ring dari logamnya ya? Apakah ada 2 versi lensa serie E?
