Apa yang salah ya kalau modelnya kayak begitu? Perasaan kamera dimana2 juga modelnya mirip2 saja. Kecuali Oly 300/330 dan Sony R-1 yang rada radikal. Yang lainnya mah tipikal lah ...

Kalo menurut saya imho ya Sony itu hired designer product dari designer top dunia utk line and shape product2nya supaya lain dari yg lain , dan kesan modern berseni , gak mungkin mereka design kamera dgn dial button konvensional spt di maxxum5 tsb (2 dial button di kiri kanan atas)

Anti-Shake is now called "Super Steady Shot"
new anti-dust system
new D-Range Optimizer function (seems similar to Fuji's)
processing engine is now called "Bionz"
shooting speed 3fps
new battery NP-fm55h


Flashes now called HVL- f56am and hvl-F36AM but they look to be the same as the 5600 hs and 3600 hs with the same pre-flash/blink issue.

Also, both G and ZEISS, yes ZEISS! lenses are to be released.

The picture that is circulating is correct. Two Knobs on top,
I have not seen any other pictures.

10.2 MP CCD with Super Steady Shot (AS) and Dust removal function.
3 FPS in jpeg, 3 FPS in RAW up to 6 frames.
Minolta Flash Shoe.
Both CF and Memory Stick compatible
2.5" LCD of course

Nothing else much new here and I was not allowed to "memorize" the whole thing.

What was super cool though was the picture of the lenses.....

I saw for sure the 16mm, 20mm! I recognized these from shape alone.

Further back there was two "white" lenses! Looked like the 70-200 APO SSM f2.8 and either the 200 or 300 APO SSM f2.8.

Sorry I could not discern any other lenses 100% but there were about 15 or so on the brochure.

The system map on the back looked exactly like the Minolta ones with 2 flashes a "56 and a 36" as well as 2 macro flashes. Remote cords were shown.

I asked about price for this model and he said it should cone in at just over $1000 Canadian.

They have a section in the store all set up for the camera and lenses. They are all going for training in early June. I asked the guy at the store about the next cameras and lenses and he said that he should ask about the upcoming products at the training session.

Hmmm... a bit dissapointed nih...

I was also expecting a more "exotic" look from the new alpha. Hope this is the low-end Alpha before Sony introduces a more exotic high-end Alpha...

However, the dust reduction system makes this camera the most complete camera in the market. Imagine, the Super Steady Shot combined with Anti Dust System!
